Dick Daniels
After earning a Ph.D. in Nutrition and Physiology from Rutgers University, Dick went on to become an internationally respected expert in the areas of food quality and food safety. Not the liveliest of subjects, which led him to use his landscape and underwater photography as an integral part of the technical speeches he presented to industry and at universities.
Since retiring from industry, he has devoted himself to capturing the "moods of nature" rather than the details of the moment. His extensive travels include recent visits to both the Arctic and Antarctic. Soon, he will have created images from each of the earth's continents as well as a significant number of her most beautiful underwater sites. Dick and his wife Sue photograph North America using an RV as home base along with Sailor, their Golden Retriever.
